The Maine Health Information Management Association (MeHIMA) is committed to providing access to services and information online in a manner that respects and protects the privacy of our members and general users who access this site.  This statement describes our information collection practices and how we use and protect your personal information. 

Unique Identifiers

Log-on information is needed in the Members Only section of the website which requires unique identifiers (membership identification numbers) to verify the user’s identity.  This unique and individually identified information is never sold nor provided to third parties nor are passwords stored on the website.

Cookies

Our organization is committed to ensuring the security of your information. MeHIMA does not sell or rent the contact information of its members or customers.

Online surveys, polls, and all demographic information collected through our website are used for internal benchmarking and research. Identifying information is not disclosed to outside parties.
